In this event, the Museum of Youth Culture invited participants to show and share stories and photos of their youth.
The Museum of Youth Culture are an emerging museum dedicated to the styles, sounds and social movements innovated by young people over the last 100 years. Originally developed from the archives of YOUTH CLUB, a non-profit Heritage Funded collection incorporating over 150,000 photographs, ephemera and educational texts from over 400 photographers and writers celebrating youth culture history. In this workshop they invited participants to show and share photographs of their own youth, put themselves into the archive, and share their stories.
Lucy Robinson and Lisa der Weduwe gave a live introduction to the workshop during which they discussed the work of the Museum of Youth Culture. Attendees were then invited to participate in the workshop by sharing their photographs online.
